築31年のマンション一室改修工事である。最寄り駅より徒歩５分程とアクセスが良く、大通りに面したビルは地上11階建ての占有面積約75㎡の住戸である。クライアントはディンクスで、お互いそれぞれの趣味を楽しんでいる。ここでは、古い共同住宅の階高の低い住戸を考慮した床のレベル設定とし、同時に床レベルを下げることで外部との繋がりをより近いものとするため、南側に配されたリビング空間へつながる奥行きのある土間空間を計画した。壁と扉はラーチ合板で統一させ、趣味の自転車や美術品の展示空間を兼ねている。

this is a renovation project for a 31-year-old condominium. the building, which is easily accessible within a 5-minute walk from the nearest station and faces a main street, is an 11-story residential building with an area of approximately 75 square meters. the client is dinks, and they both enjoy their own hobbies. we planned a space with a dirt floor for connecting outdoor and inside room. the walls and doors are made of larch plywood, and it doubles as an exhibition space for hobby bicycles and artwork.​
